KAACHI, LE GROUPE DE KPOP EUROPÉEN QUI FAIT POLÉMIQUE! (ENG SUB)

*music* Heyo I hope you're all doing great! Today we're back for a new video which is gonna be an analysis related to the group KAACHI.
A lot of you guys asked me to talk about this group and for real all the things that I found REALLY disgusted me! Why such a behavior? But whatever.
You will see thereafter.
Well hope you will like it! Let's go! So to start, who is KAACHI? KAACHI is a group of 4 female members which started on April 15 in the UK with the Label Frontrow.
They have been presented as the first European female group of Kpop.
And all started by the end of 2019.
These 4 young girl got spotted at London in October 2019 during a dance competition.
The director of the Label Frontrow , Monica Lee, helped them.
Subsequently, 3 of the group of the members, Chunseo, Dani and Nicole went to live in South Korea during 3 months where they were they were trained in the mythic dance studio, "1 MILLION".
This is how the group name KAACHI which is a Korean word that means "the unity" and "the value" have been reveal tho the public in January 2020 as the first European girl group of Kpop.
First of all we could think of what is the commercial and artistic goal of creating a European group of Kpop.
KAACHI is a group which wants to mix the European pop, the South Korean pop and the hip hop in order to create a new style of Kpop that would target the American and European Market.
It's like that that was revealed on 28th March 2020 the first members of KAACHI The first is Chunseo.
She is 19 and she is the maknae.
She is born in Vallance in Spain she went to live in London in 2014.
She dance since age of 14 and she was a member of the dance UJJN with Nicole and Dani.
Her real name is Ruth Guillem Gomez but because of the difficulties to pronounce her name with the Korean alphabet, she choose to call herself Chunseo.
But why Chunseo? It's because the fandom of her favorite group, Teen Top is in Korean "cheonsa" It's also because the number 1 005 is the number of birthday of her favorite member of Teen Top Chunji.
The number 1 004 is right before 1 005 and it also sound like "cheonsa".
That's why she chose a name similar to "cheonsa" which means angel in English to change it into Chunseo, a word that is meaningless.
The second member is Nicole.
Her real name is Nicole Harddisson Hernandez and she's 20.
She's born in Venezuela and she was raise in Tenerife in Spain before going to London in 2011.
She's the main the vocalist and also the leader of KAACHI.
The 3rd member Dani is 21 and she's the main rapper.
She is born in London and she know Dani and Nicole for now 6 years.
And the 4th member, Coco, wasn't at first planned for this group; An other member named Keiji has been presented in March 2020 before she got replaced by an other member; Miso to finally be replaced by Coco.
She is born in South Korea and lived there until 2016.
But then went live to London.
She's one of the main dancer in the group and beside, she's the only one who speak fluently Korean.
KAACHI who want to create a new value in the music in order to reunite people did their debut the April 15 with their first song.
*music* And at their debut, the group received an huge wave of hatred from many Kpop fans on internet.
They were insulted, they received death threats, some people disclosed their personal information on internet, hate campaigns have been posted on YouTube and Twitter, in short, only horrible things.
But finally...
why so much hatred? First of all, only by the creation of the group.
KAACHI was created in few months and the member didn't train for long What people reproached to them is the fact that they call themselves a Kpop group when they are not even in a Korean Label and they didn't train as long and as hard like the other artists of these Korean Labels.
Moreover, a lot of people didn't like the fact that non-Asian people claims to be part of a Kpop group when they don't speak fluently Korean.
Unfortunately, this short training time is felt from the beginning of the group.
We reproach them their vocal weakness, their rap weakness, their dance weakness as well as their lack of chemistry and cohesion in the group.
The second point of this hate is the rumors.
First of all, a lot of people said and still say that KAACHI signed in the same Label as Oli London.
And if you don't know Oli London, it's this; *bad music LMFAOO* It's a really controversial person because he made a lot of surgery to look like Jimin of BTS I think you all know him and for real it's just scary.
This rumor as been denied by KAACHI, their producers and Oli London and the group has no connection with him.
The only association that was made with him and this group is that Coco already appeared in one his clip before she joined KAACHI.
Other rumors said that KAACHI was created by the producer Simon Cowell.
Simon Cowell is a really well-known English producer to whom we owe in particular the creation of the One Direction.
This producer made polemic by the end of 2019 because he said that he wanted to create the UK-pop in order to compete with the Kpop.
The haters of KAACHI then started to say that KAACHI was only created to compete with the other groups of Kpop and there again, the rumor was fake.
Simon Cowell has really nothing to do with KAACHI and it's the producer of the group who denied it.
Now let's talk about Chunseo and she's by far the person the most hated in this group.
To begin, people accuse her of being a koreaboo.
A koreaboo is a non-Korean person that have an obsession with the Korean culture at the point that she even denies her own origins to define herself has a Korean person.
She chooses a new identity and idealize a lot the country as well as the culture.
The argument of the haters is that she's the only one who chose a Korean name even if she's not.
But it's unfortunately not all; Some rumors say that she ship herself with Jungkook of BTS.
That is to say that she would imagine having a relation with him, whether in love or not.
She would also have created harass Chan of Stray Kids using her Twitter account named "Chunseokook".
Ok but everybody spread these rumors but nobody tries to know if they are true.
Because there is literally no proof that they are true.
Just by looking at this Twitter account; For me it's just so big and gross that it seems like everything except the truth.
The group as well as their producer denied these rumors by affirming that Chunseo don't have a Twitter account.
For real, I'm really surprise by the hypocrisy of some fans.
When it's a Kpop artist that is victim of rumors, the fans directly do prevention campaigns but when it's other people, there is not any problem.
I just find it so hypocrite but at a unimaginable point for real think about it.
If i start from this principle, if I create a Twitter account tomorrow saying that this account belongs to the artist and I post some horrible things, will you say that this account belongs to this person? Well I don't think so, so you really need to do research and don't think all you see.
An other big rumor says that they mocked Jennie from Blackpink.
The rumor said that when the members of KAACHI were still in UJJN, their cameraman asked them to imitate Jennie and they would have started to dance limply in reference of the "Lazy Jennie" scandal.
Excepts that by finding the video, we see that the story is a little different.
Cameraman: Dance limply...
Cameraman: ...Like Jenny from Blackpink It's their cameraman during a challenge that asked them do dance limply and the added like Jennie from Blackpink Everybody can think what they want but for me it isn't the fault of the girls but the fault of the cameraman (I forgot to add that they apologized and said that they didn't heard him say like Jennie from Blackpink and whatever we're still far from ''insulting Jennie'' here) An other rumor said the members of KAACHI compare themselves to Hwasa from Mamamoo Here again the person who said that is Miso and moreover she never debuted in KAACHI Miso: Hi guys! My name is Miso! I am the newest member of KAACHI! My position is 시크 (chic) and 도도 (dodo)! Miso: I'm like the Hwasa from Mamamoo of KAACHI! They also are accused of copying the logo of BTS, Blackpink and Seventeen when in fact, this logo is fake.
(Here is the real logo!) This logo has been duplicated in mirror to make it look like the logo of BTS and same for the C of Blackpink in reverse when in fact it doesn't exist.
Oh and the font that have been used can be find on internet so saying that it's copying is pretty wobbly.
They would also have copied some choreography, some typologies of writing of covers, some clip effect, ect...
Here again I think that the word ''copying'' is too abusive.
For example, in the choreographies, everyone is inspire by everyone, it's like the music, but here again, it's a question of point of view.
And I'm gonna pass the stupid rumors that says things like what they have vibrator as a light stick.
Like what they wanted to release song with a title directly copied from BTS like "Blue Swan" or "Kill Me".
In short, everything is done to make people hate this group.
Honestly, like I said just before, I think that there is really a lot of hypocrisy from some fans of Kpop.
First of all; The rumors; There is so many people spreading them and saying that they are true but then you see the same persons doing campaign against bullying and the rumor that touches the Kpop artists you tell yourself ; "isn't that illogical?" Of course this group criticizable on a lot of points But it doesn't excuse the insults, the bullying, the rumors and the death threats No but seriously, on a side, some people cry for Sulli, but on the other side they are gonna bully these young girls because they are not like the other Kpop idols.
(Someone even said: ''And after she's shipping herself with Jungkook an hate on Bangchan of Stray Kids.
I- LMAOO, DON'T PUT YOUR DIRTY PAWS OF KOREANBOO ON BANGCHAN OR JUNGKOOK OK) (Chunseo = MY WORST PHOBIA THIS GIRL I SWEAR TO YOU)'' But just, where is the logic in all of that? Personally I don't like KAACHI at all.
The problem that I have with them is not the fact that there are non-asian people in it.
In reality the problem for me is that everything seems a little amateur.
I have the impression that everything was not very worked on and it's really on this point that I don't like it.
For me, the song it's not really good and I don't think that they have a public.
For me this group is doomed to fail.
The producer should have known that this group would receive an significant amount of hate from some person that are not open-minded at all and finally this group is now known for the rumors around them and not because of what they are doing : music.
This group remind me of the project UHSN who have been a group without any Asian if I remember correctly.
This project has been launched in South Korea and for real, their music, their choreography, their clip, everything looked a lot more worked on and I honestly appreciated it a lot.
*music* But here with KAACHI, there is just a soulless group and I feel really bad for these girls who despite themselves are are subject to death threats and insults.
I'm just thinking like; "Why?" I mean, if you don't like it you should just move on.
For example, me after this video I'm not gonna listen to this group and I'm not gonna talk about it anymore.
So do the same! If you don't it : don't talk about it, don't listen to it and move on! You will see that your life will get a lot better.
